MPower vs PromoLink

PromoLink prices every module separately.
MPower is one platform, one price.

PromoLink sells presentations, sales orders, storefronts and purchase orders as separate modules, each with its own monthly fee, setup fee and usage cap, plus 0.80% of storefront revenue. MPower publishes one price for CRM, presentations, orders, unlimited stores and accounting. Here is the side-by-side.

Why distributors choose MPower

The whole business, not a stack of modules.

One subscription

CRM, presentations, orders, stores and accounting come in one All-in-One plan. PromoLink bills ShowCase, Sales Order, Storefront and Purchase Order as separate modules.

No setup fee listed

MPower's pricing page lists no setup fee; plans start monthly or annually. PromoLink charges a setup fee on each module, from $250 to $2,400, and $6,000 to $8,000 on its suites.

Unlimited stores included

All-in-One and Pro include unlimited company stores. PromoLink's unlimited-storefront module is $1,299 a month plus a $2,400 setup fee, before its 0.80% revenue fee.

Side by side

MPower vs PromoLink, feature by feature.

Both cover the promo workflow from presentation to purchase order. The difference is whether you buy it as one platform or module by module.

What it actually costs

A full PromoLink stack costs more than MPower at any store volume we checked.

Both companies publish their prices, so here is the yearly platform cost at different levels of web-store sales. PromoLink's revenue fee is lower than ours, so its storefront module alone catches up at high store volume.

When PromoLink is the better fit. If you only need storefronts and they sell more than about $900,000 a year, PromoLink's Storefront Unlimited module costs less than MPower: its 0.80% revenue fee is below our 1.9% and 1.5%, and from that point the gap outweighs its higher $1,299 monthly fee. If your CRM, orders and accounting already live in other systems you are happy with, price the storefront module on its own.

Where MPower wins

  • One price for the whole business. CRM, presentations, orders, stores and accounting in one plan.
  • No setup fee listed. PromoLink's four modules carry $3,450 in setup before month one.
  • Unlimited stores included with allowances, approvals, SSO and start and end dates.
  • 0% on orders your team enters in the app; the fee applies to web-store orders only.
  • Electronic supplier POs over PromoStandards, with 725,000+ products synced.
  • SOC 2 Type 2, independently audited by Sensiba LLP.

How these are built. MPower All-in-One at $479.20/mo billed annually ($5,750/yr, up to 10 users) plus 1.9% of web-store orders; All-in-One Pro at $959.20/mo billed annually ($11,510/yr, unlimited users) plus 1.5%. PromoLink Storefront Unlimited at $1,299/mo ($15,588/yr) plus 0.80% of storefront revenue. PromoLink four modules = ShowCase $499 + Sales Order $499 + Storefront Unlimited $1,299 + Purchase Order $499 = $2,796/mo ($33,552/yr) plus 0.80%, the nearest match to what MPower includes. All figures exclude one-time setup fees (PromoLink $2,400 for Storefront Unlimited, $3,450 for the four modules; MPower's pricing page lists none) and per-order minimums (MPower $1 on All-in-One and $0.25 on Pro; PromoLink $0.60), and assume orders large enough that no minimum applies. PromoLink's modules cap usage at 50 ShowCases, 250 sales orders and 3,000 POs a month; its Sales Team Suite ($2,500/mo, $6,000 setup) includes unlimited ShowCases and sales orders, and its Storefront Suite is $2,750/mo plus 0.80% with $8,000 setup.
