MPower vs WebJaguar

WebJaguar is now QAD Digital Commerce.
MPower is built for promo.

WebJaguar was bought by ERP maker QAD in 2021 and is now sold as QAD Digital Commerce: a general e-commerce platform for B2B and B2C sellers, priced on a quote. MPower is one system for promotional products distributors, with CRM, presentations, orders, supplier POs over PromoStandards, unlimited stores and accounting, at a published price. Here is the side-by-side.

Verified against webjaguar.com and qad.com, including QAD's promotional products case studies. Last checked 28 October 2026.

Why distributors move to MPower

A storefront is one part of a distributorship.

Made for promotional products

QAD sells Digital Commerce as a general B2B and B2C platform, next to its ERP for manufacturers. MPower is built only for promo distributors.

725,000+ products, live

Supplier catalogs sync over PromoStandards, and purchase orders go to connected suppliers electronically.

A price you can see

Every MPower plan is on our pricing page. QAD publishes no price for Digital Commerce; you request a demo.

What it actually costs

MPower's yearly cost, on published prices.

QAD does not publish a price for Digital Commerce, so we cannot put a number in its column. Here is MPower's full yearly platform cost at different web-store volumes, so you can hold it against your QAD quote and the other systems you pay for alongside it.

When WebJaguar is the better fit. If your stores sell to clients around the world in several languages and currencies from warehouses in more than one country, or you need the vendor's own developers to build custom features into your site, QAD has done both for promo companies such as Brandinc and Bob Lilly Promotions. And if you already run your business on QAD Adaptive ERP, its storefront syncs pricing, inventory and orders with that ERP in real time.

Where MPower wins

  • Built for promo. CRM, presentations, orders, stores and accounting in one system.
  • 725,000+ products over PromoStandards, with electronic supplier POs.
  • A price you can see. Every plan is published; no demo needed.
  • Unlimited stores with allowances, approvals, SSO and start and end dates.
  • 0% on orders your team enters in the app; the fee applies to web-store orders only.
  • SOC 2 Type 2, independently audited by Sensiba LLP.

How these are built. MPower All-in-One at $479.20/mo billed annually ($5,750/yr, up to 10 users) plus 1.9% of web-store orders (minimum $1 per order): $5,750 + 1.9% × $100,000 = $7,650. All-in-One Pro at $959.20/mo billed annually ($11,510/yr, unlimited users) plus 1.5% (minimum $0.25 per order): $11,510 + 1.5% × $100,000 = $13,010. The same sums give the $250,000 and $1,000,000 rows. Orders your team enters in the application carry 0%. Per-order minimums are left out, which only matters for orders under about $53. QAD does not publish Digital Commerce pricing.

FAQ

Switching from WebJaguar, answered.

What happened to WebJaguar?
QAD, a maker of ERP software for manufacturers, bought WebJaguar in December 2021. Webjaguar.com now redirects to QAD Digital Commerce, which is the same platform under QAD's name. QAD itself is owned by the private equity firm Thoma Bravo.
How much does WebJaguar cost?
QAD does not publish pricing for Digital Commerce. Its product page offers a demo request, so you need a quote to see the cost. MPower All-in-One is $5,750 a year billed annually, plus 1.9% of web-store orders.
Is WebJaguar built for promotional products?
It is a general B2B and B2C e-commerce platform. Promo companies use it, and QAD publishes case studies from Bob Lilly Promotions and Brandinc, but promotional products are not among the industries QAD lists. MPower is built only for promo distributors.
Does MPower support punch-out?
Yes. MPower stores support cXML punch-out, so a client's buyers can shop your store from inside their procurement system.
Does MPower connect to suppliers over PromoStandards?
Yes. MPower syncs over 725,000 products by PromoStandards with scheduled pricing and inventory updates, and sends purchase orders over PromoStandards to connected suppliers.
What comes across when I move?
Customer and contact records, order history and artwork files come across. Product data is rebuilt live from PromoStandards rather than copied, so it arrives current. Store designs are rebuilt with the MPower store builder and templates.
